Life Verse

Consider it a great joy, my brothers, whenever you experience various trials.
-James 1:2

Sunday School Conversation

HandsREAD: Acts 10:34-43 & Galatians 3:28
(Life Point)

SHARE: Have you witnessed a situation where someone was shunned because of prejudice? (Church, School, Work, Ball Park). In your own life, is there a prejudice towards other people that would keep you from loving them as Jesus loves them?  If yes, what should you do about that?

PRAY: Ask the Lord to forgive you of  any prejudice in your heart. Pray also that He would give you a heart to love all people. Pray that the Grace Life family would be free of prejudice that would hInder us from bringing glory to God.

Parents – Refer to the “One Conversation” page for further discussion with your children.

Sermon Conversation

good-newsREAD: Luke 7:11-17

SHARE: What happened in this story? Notice in verse 16 that it says that the people realized something big had happened – “God has visited his people!” God has visited us through the Gospel – through sending Jesus to die for us. God has raised us up from the dead. Are we spreading the word about Jesus throughout the land?

PRAY: Ask the Lord to help you speak boldly to those who cross your paths. Continue to pray for the people in your life that have not yet put their trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior.

4-Core Conversation

One of the best ways to overcome prejudice towards others is to position yourself to SERVE those you are/were partial against.
