Walking Shoes and Church?

Walking-ShoesAre You Walking The Path? Of course this is Grace Life’s Path of Legacy Milestones. Legacy is the impact on others you leave behind when you die. A milestone is a marker representing a significant event or achievement.

“Names and dates are carved on tombstones, but legacies are etched on hearts.”

God has called those who influence children, primarily parents, to intentionally lead them to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your might” (Deut 6), thus passing their faith on to the next generation… making disciples, who make disciples, who make disciples… from one generation to another. This certainly won’t happen by accident. It requires being intentional about the direction your family will go and what you will do.

The path of Legacy Milestones is a simple yet strategic equipping support system for families to prepare for and maximize the impact of significant moments in their child’s life. From the birth of a baby to grand-parenting with purpose, thru the Legacy Milestones Family Summit Seminars, held quarterly, adults are equipped to lead their children step by step to the next milestone on their life journey. You can be sure that someone will lead children. The question is, “Who?” and “Where?”. God has designed for that to be mom and dad, and as partners, extended family and the church.

Faith Conversations (or talks) are the means through which we seek to lead our kids to understand and embrace God’s truth as together you pursue the next milestone. This foundational seminar in the legacy milestone journey was taught in the last Family Summit and will be taught at each family summit.

The next Family Summit is Sunday, November 17 at 4:30pm. Registration will begin soon, so put on your walking shoes and get on the Legacy Milestone path. You’ll see God work in the heart of your child as never before. If you have questions give me a call. These are exciting days as we build households of faith from generation to generation, all for the glory of God!

Blessings!
