For it was You who created my inward parts; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will praise you because I have been remarkably and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful, and I know this very well.
Sunday School Conversation
READ: Romans 10:10-15
SHARE: As Christians, we are commanded to be a witness for Christ, to share the Gospel. It was said once, “Share the Gospel and if necessary, use words.” While it is absolutely necessary for us to speak and share the message of the Gospel with our mouths; often times we do say a lot with our actions. What is your life “saying” about your relationship with Jesus? Can others look at your life and see the difference that Christ makes?
PRAY: Ask the Lord to help you live your life in such a way that “shouts” out the hope of the Gospel. Thank Him for saving you and using you to share the Gospel.
Parents – Refer to the “One Conversation” page for further discussion with your children.
READ: Isaiah 6:1-8
SHARE: Have you ever been given a second chance to do something? What about when it comes to following God’s plan for your life? Do you need another chance? The good news is that God is a God of second chances. Look over the sermon notes from Sunday. Of those five points which ones do you need to focus on the most? Why?
PRAY: Thank God for the opportunity for a new beginning. Ask Him to help you move forward from the things that have held you back from following Him. Perhaps you would even say to Him today, “Here I am, send me.”
READ: Acts 1:8 & Ephesians 3:10
SHARE: In Acts 1:8, Jesus told His followers that they “WILL be my witnesses.” He did not say that you might be my witness. In this same verse, Jesus gave His followers a “Road Map” to follow when it comes to sharing the Gospel – Jerusalem (Your City), Judea (Your State), Samaria (Your Nation) and to the ends of the earth. What are you doing to engage each of these areas in missions? We are commanded to GO to the world around us and share the hope of the Gospel. What is your next step in obeying this command?
PRAY: Thank the Lord that He uses His church (the people) to spread the Gospel to the nations. Ask Him to clearly show you what your next steps should be when it comes to living your life on mission for Him.
