God has given us a unique opportunity to minister to one of the families in our church. Kara Bishop and her children, Danielle, and Corey are members of our church, and though we set out to minister to them, we have been the ones who’ve received the blessing. Corey is seven years old and lives on a ventilator. In addition to working full-time, Kara started a foundation called “Vent Kids of Alabama”. Kara and her daughter, Danielle, serve families all over Alabama with children living on ventilators. We were so inspired by the work of this family, we desired to find a way to minister to them. Knowing Kara’s dream of serving the foundation full-time, the church is building the Bishops a house, so that Kara would never have to pay a mortgage again.
