International Mission Board:

Equips and serves SBC churches all around the world with missions and church planting

Project 3000:

Presently there are over 3,000 people groups in the world that are unengaged with the gospel.  Our IMB has a goal of appointing 300 missionaries to confront this lostness.  Each missionary will be assigned 300 people groups, for a 2-year period, in which to develop a strategy to engage each people group with the gospel. To date 36 explorers are on the mission field. Progress is being made with 263 people groups having been explored and 118 of those have been engaged.  56 groups are now classified as reached.  Pray for these missionaries on the field and for more to be called and sent.

IMB Missionaries

J & R:

J, R and family have returned from their furlough.  As stated earlier they have moved to a neighboring country due to needs for their children’s education and to avoid visa challenges.  J will continue his work in his assigned area in South Asia.  He will travel there 10 days a month and will use the internet to maintain his ministry.  Pray for J as he works out the logistics to continue the ministry in South Asia. Pray for R as she continues to assist him in these endeavors and manages the home in his absence each month.  Praise for the extended visa which will make J’s travel much easier.
