A local benevolence ministry partner
A New Beginning: The Grace Place has merged with Serving You Ministries, a faith-based ministry located in Birmingham. This merger will enhance the ministry potential of TGP. The new name is "Serving You Ministries @ The Grace Place". John Gibson is the Executive Director. Mickey Wade will serve as Site Director at TGP, Lynn Laws will serve as Administrative Assistant to John, Carol Kepfer will serve as volunteer coordinator and Board Member, and Vicki Maharrey will serve as Clothing Lead. Mickey, Lynn and Carol are members of GLBC and have served as volunteers at TGP.
Pray for (1) Mickey, Lynn, Vicki and Carol as they provide leadership during and after this time of transition (2) our members who volunteer at The Grace Place: Dava Acton, Lynn Acton, Sara Cofield, Ellie Huffman, Ann Jones, Irene Mills, Brandi Newman, Mary Stinson, Rhonda Whaley, Janice Whaley, Phyllis Baker, Teresa McGuire, Don Gilmore and Bonnie Gilmore.

Pray for our members who volunteer at Sav-a-life: Ann Jones, Jackie Hadaway, Angel Hudgins, Katie Spiller, and Chris Craig.
After school Bible clubs held in public elementary schools in Birmingham and the surrounding counties
Pray for (1) the children as they hear the message of Christ (2) David & Debbie Patterson, Sara Cofield, Lenna Peterson, and Janice Taylor as they continue to serve in this ministry and (3) additional volunteers as we prepare for next year
A strategy for churches and parents to partner together around local schools to empower students to influence their schools with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Pray for (1) the children as they hear the message of Christ, and (2) Heather Hopkins, Jennifer Criss, Mike Criss, and Katie Goolsby as they partner with leaders from Hepzibah Baptist Church to co-lead this ministry effort.
We have partnered with a local church in Robinwood as they minister to their community. We feed a meal to the community once a month.
Praise God for (1) our volunteers that faithfully serve this ministry every month. Pray for (1) Pastor Amos as he leads Pillar of Hope in this ministry, (2) our team of cooks that provide the monthly meal, and (3) for opportunities to share the love and salvation of Christ as the meal is served.
