Music Ministry Sunday Choir

Our Sunday Choir sings in both Sunday gatherings as an extension of our congregation, modeling what worship through song sounds and looks like. They serve each Sunday, taking breaks in January and June and on Covenant Sundays. Volunteers may choose to sing in both gatherings or only one so they don't miss their Life Group. Volunteers may also attend their Life Group after singing in each gathering. This is NOT an auditioned ensemble and they rehearse Wednesdays from 6:30–7:45 pm.

Student Choir

Our Student Choir is for students 6th–12th grade. They sing in nursing homes and rescue missions throughout the year and have a summer mission project each Summer. They learn how to come together for something bigger than themselves while forming lasting friendships rooted in worship. This is NOT an auditioned ensemble and they rehearse Sundays from 4 - 5 pm in the Fall and Spring semesters. Students in 7th grade and up who sing in Student Choir may also participate in Sunday Choir. They have a dedicated rehearsal on Sundays at 5pm following Student Choir rehearsal. We also rely on adult volunteers to help with rehearsals, planning, and logistics.

Children's Choir

Our Children's Choir is for students K5 - 5th grade. They sing twice a semester in a Sunday gathering. Children learn how God created them to worship Him and how to use their voice to worship and serve the church. This is NOT an auditioned ensemble and they rehearse Sundays from 4 - 5 pm in the Fall and Spring semesters. We also rely on adult volunteers to help with rehearsals, planning, and logistics.

Senior Choir

Our Senior Choir sings in nursing homes and for our homebound members throughout the year. They also perform in the Fall and Spring for our own senior programs at Grace Life. Their singing encourages others through a living testimony of faith that deepens with age. This is NOT an auditioned ensemble and they rehearse Wednesdays from 5 - 6 pm in the Fall and Spring semesters.

Band

Our Band plays in both Sunday gatherings, adding rhythm and emotion through a range of styles. They serve on a monthly rotation based on their preference, usually serving once to three times a month. This auditioned ensemble rehearses Wednesdays from 6:15–7:30 pm and Sundays at 8 am. Students in 7th grade and up may audition, though they're limited to serving once per month to minimize missing student ministry on Wednesdays. Volunteers may attend their Life Group after playing in each gathering.

Commitment: Wednesdays & Sundays (1-3 times a month)

Orchestra

Our Orchestra plays in both Sunday gatherings, adding energy and richness through a variety of instruments. They serve based on the songs selected each Sunday rather than a fixed rotation. They usually serve twice a month. Volunteers also have the option to participate only in special services like Good Friday and Christmas. This auditioned ensemble rehearses Wednesdays from 6:15–7:30 pm and Sundays at 8 am on weeks they play. Students in 9th grade and up may audition. They have a dedicated Sunday rehearsal at 4 pm. Volunteers may attend their Life Group after playing in each gathering.
